At a young age, Gavin tried every sport imaginable: basketball, baseball, soccer, and even martial arts for nine years. While these after-school activities may have given him something to do, Gavin didn't find his spark until signing up to operate the soundboard for his middle school play in sixth grade. Once this spark was discovered, Gavin found his theatre family at First Stage in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which helped him refine his passion into technique.
